error of calculation of aqueous species

My name is Sho Ogata. I have use iCP with R&D license.
I use to iCP to create THMC(Thermo-Hydro-mechanical-chemical) coupling model. Now, as first step, I create Thermo-chemical coupling 2D model with iCP1.2.
Only chemical calculation model can run smoothly before. But, when thermo calculation (heat tranfer module) add simple chemical calculation model,
this thermo-chemical coupling model can't work with iCP. I try many thermo-chemical model, but, every time same error message about problem that aqueous species concentration
has not convergence was display. Any thermo-chemical model does not succeed. I can't create THMC coupling model at all .
I would appreciate it if iCP professor could give me some advice. I am troubled very mutch.

Dear Mr. Ogata,

Sorry for the late reply. Please download the iCP examples from the following link, and try running Example 1 - THC Cannister: amphos21.wetransfer.com/downloads/b811ef...0161219085311/95bc36

This example has thermal coupling, so if it works it means that iCP is working correctly. If so you probably have numerical issues with your model and maybe you have to refine the mesh or the time step.

Hi, Thank you for reply.
I know that THC_canister example can work thermal coupling before.
In reference to this example model, I try to make 2D thermal coupling model many times. I refine the mesh or time step many times , But, every time, same error message was displayed. I can't understand Why clear reason of this error.
I think thermal coupling is difficult for general user .
My model contain some kinetics reaction depends on temperature. Are the other 2D thermal-kinetic reactions coupling models other than THC_canister model?
Does a successful person come to the temperature coupling ? Can I have anything, information?

Thank you for your reply.
I have nearly finished to success coupling Thermal-hydro-chemical .
Now, I create model thermal-hydro-chemical-mechanical THMC model.
T-H-C model can work, but, T-H-M-C coupling model can't work.
Can iCP interface work mechanical coupling ? Are there example which mechanical coupling ( ex. porosity change due to mechanical effect) success ? This coupling model is very important thesis for master degree.
I hardly have time to me. I would appreciate it if you could give me some advice. Best regards.

Dear Mr Ogata,

Which physics are you using for the mechanical part of the model? Unfortunately iCP is not compatible with comsol modules such as the structural mechanics module for the moment, this may present some problems when creating a THMC model.
